360 Data - Reference Desk
What is it?
360 Data Reference Desk is a customizable, ad-hoc data cleansing request service. Clients leverage this solution to support critical business functions with highly accurate data through a simple request and response data service. Data types include client, counterparty, hierarchy, securities, accounts, and other client-specific data needs.
How does it work?
Using Kingland's standard approach of working with our clients, we identify specific data attribute, quality, and coverage requirements from our clients. These requirements typically include:
Data Augmentation: addition of attributes and other client-specific information
Data Validation: exception processing, validation of data across multiple sources, attribute correction, source documentation
Corporate Hierarchy Expansion: expanding one entity or an existing corporate family tree into all available subsidiaries and parents, including less than 50% ownership
These requirements, combined with the 360 Data proprietary processes for data management, are used for the specific client Reference Desk.
Then it's simple. We deploy a user interface that is deployed to our clients' defined users and as the business processes demand, the users will enter in the information of interest and a request is sent to Kingland. Using our existing data and our teams of data researcher analysts, we execute the client processes to process the request. The resulting data is returned back to the client within an agreed upon timeframe, typically 24 hours, but adjustable based upon business need. The returned data can be delivered back to the user, or through services, consumed by a users application and integrated into an existing business process.
