Health Insurance

Employees who elect health insurance have the benefit of the Alliance Select Health Plan administered through Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Iowa. The plan includes prescription drug benefits with the Blue Rx three-level plan.

Dental Insurance

Employees who elect dental insurance have the benefit of using the Delta Dental Plan of Iowa.

Vision Discount Card

Full-time and part-time employees of Kingland Systems Corporation are eligible to participate in this voluntary discount plan. Provided by Avesis Incorporated, members receive discounted eye exams, lenses, frames, contact lenses, and laser vision corrections services when provided by an Avesis participating provider.

Short Term Disability

Full-time employees of Kingland Systems Corporation are eligible for Short Term Disability (STD). STD is effective day one of absence for injury and day eight of absence for illness. Our STD benefit pays 60% of basic monthly salary up to $1,000 and may continue for up to 13 weeks.

Long Term Disability

Full-time employees of Kingland Systems Corporation are eligible for Long Term Disability Insurance (LTD). LTD insurance has a 90-day waiting period and pays 60% of current compensation up to a maximum of $9,000 per month until the age of 65.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Full-time employees may enroll in Health Care Reimbursement and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts. These accounts enable employees to pay predictable health and dependent day care expenses with dollars that they elect to set aside before taxes are deducted. Employees may voluntarily choose to contribute pre-tax dollars to their individual flexible spending accounts for medical and/or dependent care.

Employee Assistance Program

Full-time and part-time employees of Kingland Systems Corporation are eligible for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which is managed by Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa. EAP provides free, short-term and confidential counseling for employees and immediate family members who are having personal concerns such as (but not limited to) family conflicts, stress, depression, or concerns regarding substance abuse.

AFLAC Coverage

Full-time and part-time employees of Kingland Systems Corporation are eligible to take advantage of optional coverage through AFLAC. Two options are offered through AFLAC, including a Personal Accident Indemnity Plan and a Personal Cancer Indemnity Plan.
