Software Engineering Internship
Our Software Engineering Interns ("SEI's") get to work with upper-level engineers and developers on projects in production. Our SEI's learn our process methodology and are able to practice the software development lifecycle firsthand. As a SEI, you will program in Java and C# to assist in the development of software and web-based applications created for our global clients and internal staff. Working on client projects allows our SEI's to gain the interpersonal communication skills that are critical to success in today’s competitive software engineering world.
SEIs will begin internships in the summer and may have the opportunity to continue into the academic year. Those with majors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related major are all eligible for this internship program.
Business Analyst Internship
Business Analyst interns (BAI's") are quickly integrated into one of Kingland’s solution teams and work with full-time business analysts, developers and clients to help ensure our solutions are meeting the needs of our clients. Assisting in requirements development for our enterprise-class solutions, interacting with clients directly, project requirements tracking, and working with upper management are all a part of the Business Analyst professional internship experience.
Although the BAI's typically start in the summer, interns who enjoy their work and are up for a continuing challenge have an opportunity to work into the academic year. As a yearlong BAI, students will gain additional exposure to our solutions and services, further hone their technical skills, and continue to develop team work, leadership, critical thinking, and business best practices knowledge. Applicants with majors in business such as Management Information Systems, Finance, or related majors will find this internship most engaging.
